A delegation of Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto that included International Office staff members’ Magda Ferro and Raquel Correia and the coordinator of CASO-CAtólica SOlidária, Eduardo Lopes, visited on the 27th of August the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. The aim of this visit was to join efforts in order to diversify international opportunities for individual student development offered by the University .

This visit was very promising and resulted in the invitation to be part of a joint project with the Universidade Católica de Pernambuco in Brazil, which is also partnered by the consortium for international volunteering that includes the Universidade Pontificia de Comillas, the Universidad de Deusto and the the Universidad Ramón Llull. It has also paved the way to the possibility of Universidade Católica Portuguesa to integrate other international volunteering projects managed by this Consortium.

This partnership is of particular relevance to the strengthening of cooperation between Higher Education Institutions that are IFCU(International Federation of Catholic Universities) members, and whose President is the Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
